As part of UAE Innovates 2024, CBA actively participated in the “From Ideation to Commercialization” Program at Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA)’s Innovation Centre during the 2nd edition of the CleanTech Hackathon. This initiative aligns with Dubai’s commitment to achieving 100% clean energy by 2050 through cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurial innovation.

Initiative supported by the Government of Dubai
As quoted by Mr. Al Tayer, DEWA CEO, “The Innovation Centre supports our efforts to enhance the participation of young people in creating positive change and shaping the future of sustainable energy globally. Through the Innovation Centre, DEWA aims to raise awareness on sustainability, hone national capabilities, and enhance business competitiveness in this promising sector. This supports the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Dubai Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050 to provide 100% of the energy production capacity from clean energy sources by 2050”.
By showcasing how innovative ideas can be translated into tangible solutions during the event, we aimed to inspire and equip participants with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the journey from ideation to commercialization.
